  • Spray Tan Aftercare
AFTER YOUR SESSION Before your post-tan shower: WAIT AT LEAST 8 hours after your spray tan application before showering. Don't get wet or apply any lotions, deodorant or perfume till after your post-tan shower. You might feel a little sticky immediately after being sprayed. This is normal and should subside in an hour or so. If needed, lightly dust on talc free powder to eliminate sticky feel. Avoid activities that will make you perspire until after your first post-tan shower. This could ruin your tan by streaking. If you are driving home from a session put a towel down on your car seat. When you shower you will see solution/color guard (the immediate bronzer that gives you a tan instantly) come off –that’s OK. Once this color washes off, you will see your tanning results. Keep in mind that color will optimize between 8 and 12 hours after your session. Your color results will be unique to your tone and body chemistry. After your post-tan shower: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! This is essential in maintaining a longer lasting sunless tan. Don't use any products containing alpha-hydroxy or salicylic acid (AHAs or BHAs) or exfoliate skin heavily. Don’t spend too much time in the shower or swimming, which will exfoliate your skin and make your tan fade faster. Avoid using soaps in the shower as this will strip the tan off. Use a moisturizing body wash instead. Don't use any oils on the skin (Jojoba, Olive), wait 5 days as this could streak your tan. Try to get into the habit of pat drying after showers. Your tan will last longer. Remember: sunless tanning doesn't provide protection from the sun - wear sunscreen if you expose yourself to the sun!
  • Waxing Aftercare
If irritation should occur, recommend you use an antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin to keep the area continually moist to avoid infection and scabbing. No sun/tanning booths for 2 days following a waxing treatment. Extra precaution should be taken if using tanning accelerators. Wait 2-3 days to wax before/after tanning with accelerators. No hot baths for 24 hours following a body waxing treatment. No abrasives for 24 hours following a waxing treatment. No deodorants for 24 hours following an underarm waxing treatment. Diabetes - some people with diabetes have skin that is very slow to heal. The skin will be watched closely to make sure it does not over react to treatments. Women may experience extra sensitivity to waxing up to a week prior to the beginning of their menses.

  • What are lash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibers strategically cut into individual strands to mimic the look of natural lashes. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural lashes. When clients choose the classic style, the single strand of eyelash extension is applied one by one, to each individual natural lash. With our proper application, lash extensions look and feel natural and comfortable.
  • How long will a set of lash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions will last the length of your natural growth cycle of your own lashes. However, it also depends on your daily activity, natural oils, and life style. All of these factors play a big role in the longevity of your lashes. On average touch ups are done every 2 weeks.
  • Are eyelash extensions safe?
Yes, if applied properly. At Plush Beaute Lounge we use our own high quality lash extensions and high quality adhesive to ensure that clients maintain a healthy lash wear. Our Plush Beaute Lounge artist ensure that they apply the eyelash extensions one-by- one about 1mm away from your skin.
  • Can I apply mascara to lash extensions?
We do not recommend applying mascara to your lash extensions. Eyelash Extensions are designed to give your natural lashes an enhancement so you will not have to use mascara on them.
  • Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing lash extensions?
Yes! You can wear these eyelash extensions and treat them as if they are yours. Keep in mind for the first 24-48 hours after getting your lashes done, you do want to stay away from these activities so that the adhesive has time to dry. Also, by doing some of these activities it may cause your eyelash extensions to loosen faster, therefore touch ups maybe sooner then normal.
  • How soon can I wash my face after lash extensions are applied?
We suggest you wait 24-48 hours before getting your eyelash extensions wet after your application. After that time period we do recommend all clients to wash their lashes on a daily bases. Keeping your lashes clean will help with the longevity and health of your natural lashes.
  • How do I dry my eyelash extensions?
After cleansing your lashes, use a lint free tissue or paper towel and blink onto it. The tissue will soak up most of the water. After that, take your disposable mascara brush and gently brush through them. You can then take a little fan to completely dry them or you can let them air dry.
  • Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently, the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and does not touch the skin.
  • How long will it take to apply lash extensions?
The application process for eyelash extensions normally takes 90-120 minutes for a full set and 45-60 minutes for touch up If maintained properly
  • Can I choose my own style of lashes?
During the consultation process, your artist will advise which style suits you best.
  • Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the service?
Make sure you do not come in with any eye makeup. The cleaner your natural eyelashes are when you come in the better and faster the application will be. If you are coming from work and cannot remove your eye makeup before coming in, please come 15 minutes prior to you appointment time so that we can give you cleansing products to remove it. Lashes should not be permed or curled prior to your appointment time.
  • What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed?
We do offer a service to have the extensions removed involving a short 30 minute appointment in which we apply a gel remover and remove your lash extensions.
  • What is the difference between the styles offered?
Ombré: mimics the appearance of make up. Brows are lighter in the front of the brow & transition into a darker shade towards the tail of the brow. No need to fill in your brows everyday with makeup, powders, or pomades. Clients have the option of bold or soft ombré and this style is compatible with all skin tones & skin types rather your skin is oily, combination, or dry. Combination/ Microshading: a mix of two styles( ombré & microblading) ideal for clients who have less brow hair & desire fullness yet still natural or semi bold. Choose between hair strokes in the front of the brow which transitions to shading towards the tail of the brows (combination) or hair strokes and shading through the entire brow (Microshading) both are compatible for clients with dry skin or combination skin but not suggested for oily skin. Microblading: mimics hair strokes. Looks very natural. Enhances the appearance of clients existing brow hair. Ideal for clients with a good amount of brow hair who desire to fill in small gaps and create fullness (not suggested for clients who don’t have existing brow hair or extremely sparse brow hair) compatible for clients with normal to dry skin only.
  • Does it hurt?
For most, there is almost minimal to no pain. Some may experience a mild discomfort, but the procedure is tolerable. Topical anesthesia is also used throughout the duration of your appointment to ensure optimal comfort. Medical grade numbing is used for lips because it is a more sensitive area.
  • How long does it last?
Semi Permanent makeup will last generally 1-3 years on the skin, varying on the client & style of semi permanent brows. The color implanted into the epidermis (top layers of the skin) can not be rubbed or washed off, thus making it semi permanent. Overtime, the semi permanent color will fade if not maintained with annual color refreshers. It is recommended that you revisit your artist for a color refresher touch up appointment every year to maintain the shape and desired look. Lifestyle, skin type and after care also plays a major factor in the longevity of your treated area.
  • What is the healing process like?
Post appointment, expect for your brows to look bolder for the first couple of days. This is the residual pigment (color) that your body didn’t retain, coming to the surface of your skin to form a scab. For some, the scabbing process is very minor and mimics a dandruff like process. For others, the scabs fall off in pieces. Anything in between light to severe scabbing is normal because everyone’s skin heals differently.
  • Is it safe?
All supplies used are single use disposable materials that are properly discarded after each use. Plush Beaute Lounge guarantees that our environment is up to standard with the cleanliness of our practice. We are also Blood Borne Pathogen certified with the county and Licensed through the state of California & ensure that we take every precaution when it comes to health and safety procedures.
  • Will I need a touch up?
Victoria aims to achieve perfectly healed results after the 1st touch up which is done 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment. Brows are usually a 2 step process & the touch up completes the look & aids in the longevity of the color retention. your brows will change and fade. Over time so a touch up is recommended. Trust your artist and the healing process. Please note touch up appointments are meant to alter shading and colour. NOT to change your shape.
  • What is Permanent Eyeliner?
Permanent eyeliner frames the eyes and can make eyelashes appear thicker, darker and fuller. It may eliminate the need to apply eyeliner with makeup. It can enhance the shape or balance the symmetry of your eyes, create the illusion of larger eyes, or affect how the spacing of the eyes are perceived. Permanent eyeliner can also enhance or intensify eye color and make eyes appear brighter. For those who prefer a more natural look, eyeliner is applied along the base of the lashes making it appear as though you have full and thick lashes.
  • What if I'm not sure how much eyeliner I’d like permanently?
At Plush Beaute Lounge we customize the design of your lash line or permanent eyeliner based on your individual needs, shape of your eyes, as well as personal style. Your artist will work with you to help choose color and design as well apply eyeliner with a makeup pencil to create an example before the permanent eyeliner is applied
  • What are the benefits of Permanent Eyeliner?
Define your eyes No more smudges, smears, or worn-off eyeliner Great for people with allergies to cosmetic products Saves time and money Great for people with unsteady hands or vision problems Swim, shower or exercise with confidence Fills in thin or light colored eyelashes Ideal for total eyelash loss due to trichotillomania or Alopecia
  • How old do I have to be to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years or older to receive Permanent Makeup at Plush Beaute Lounge
  • Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or nursing?
As a precaution, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant or nursing women.
  • How much does it hurt?
The eyeliner or lash line procedure is more psychologically scary to most clients than anything else. The discomfort is relative as everyone has a different level of sensitivity. An pre-numbing anesthetic is applied to the eyelids for numbing prior and during the procedure. Every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the duration of the procedure.
  • How will I look immediately after?
There will be swelling. The swelling may last up to 48 hours. The color will appear darker the first week. This will gradually lighten during the complete healing process. No need to go into hiding
  • If I am using an eyelash enhancing serum, similar to Lash Boost or Latisse. Can I still have my permanent eyeliner done?
Please stop using any and all lash serums for a minimum of 3 months prior to your permanent eyeliner procedure. The reason is that those types of serums are stimulants. The will make your eyelids too fragile and vascular for cosmetic tattooing. As a result, your eyelids will bleed and bruise. After your eyeliner procedure is completed, you should wait 4 weeks to start your serum usage again.
  • How long is the healing process?
It is normal to experience minimal swelling and tenderness immediately following your procedure. This usually subsides within a few hours. The first week following your treatment, the pigment will appear much darker than how it will appear once it has healed. Around the 1st or 2nd week post procedure, the skin naturally exfoliates and sheds. During weeks 4-8 when the skin completes healing, you will see the pigment become more visible. An Enhancement Session visit approximately 8-12 weeks after your first initial appointment is necessary in order to achieve that richness of color, achieve symmetry, and density in the shape.
  • How long does Permanent Eyeliner last?

  • Are Lash Lift and Lash Perming the Same?
No, Lash lift is an improved procedure that gently curls and lifts the eyelashes while lash perming can often give you excessively curled ‘doll-like’ eyelashes sometimes at the expense of your eyelashes looking shorter. However, the basic procedure of the two is quite similar. Both of them are used to lift your natural lashes from the root to give them a straight or curled appeal. But, lash lift uses silicone pads instead of the old-fashioned perm rollers to help lift, lengthen, and curl your eyelashes for stunning results.
  • Is the Lash Lift Procedure Painful?
No, A lash lift is not painful at all. During the procedure, you will need to keep your eyes closed to let the esthetician work and give you bright-eyed looks. • Who is suitable for lash lifts?
Your natural lashes should have adequate length. Clients with straight and/or downward pointing lashes & prefer low maintenance compared to eyelash extensions & Love to still wear mascara
  • Will it damage my natural lashes?
The solutions are only applied from the base of the lash to just over half way, but never all the way to the tips. Professional grade products done by a licensed professional will not cause damage
  • Can mascara be applied after the procedure?
Please wait for 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply your usual makeup but do not use an eyelash curler
  • Can I still use an eyelash curler after a lash lift?

It is a lip tattoo that enhances and defines your lips. It can help enhance and even out natural color, or add color if you are lacking any pigment, & correct dark toned lips. Apply a little gloss or balm and your lips are perfectly kissable!
  • How long does it last?
Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should last between 2-5 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and look desired. Permanent makeup pigment is not the same as body art ink, and by design it does not last as long as body art ink. Overtime, the semi permanent color will fade if not maintained with annual color refreshers. • How do you select color?
Lips are a very personal preference! Please bring in two of your favourite lip products. From there we will narrow down color selection. Our pigments can also be custom mixed to match the shade you choose.
  • Will I still be able to wear lipstick? Will other colors still look good on top of the lip blush color?
You can wear lipstick on days that you chose to do so & the lipstick color will look perfect. Lip blush doesn’t affect lipstick colors & vice versa. Lip blush colors are neutral tones and intended to look very natural. We can certainly enhance your natural color or add color if your lacking, or customize a specific color desired.

Each appointment is allocated 2- 2.5 hour which includes review of consent forms, consultation, shaping, numbing and the procedure itself. Usually there is only 45-60 mins of actual shading. Your lips will be outlined with lipliner makeup & you’ll approved the shape before we start the procedure. Once we are both happy, I will apply numbing cream for 20-30 mins then we will start the process. During that time the non toxic pigment (ink) can sometimes get in your mouth which doesn't taste the best, but is ingestible and non toxic.
  • Can I get filler if I have lip Blush & vice/versa? Can I get lip Blush if I have filler?
The answer is yes. Lip Blush compliments lip filler very well. Be sure to give a time frame if 3 weeks prior to procedure and should be discontinued until 4 weeks after the procedure.
  • Does this procedure trigger cold sores?
Lip Blush may trigger cold sores for carriers of the herpes simplex virus. To prevent this from occurring it is recommended to take antiviral medication prescribed from your family doctor such as Valtrec or Zorivax 5 days prior, day of, and 5 days after your procedure.
  • What can’t I do after the procedure?

  • What is saline tattoo removal?
Saline Removal is the process of tattooing a saline “salt” solution into the skin in order to start the process of osmosis and lift/lighten the pigment. The extracted pigment is then lifted to the surface of the skin and begins scab formation and once the scab falls off the old lifted pigment/ink goes with it leaving behind a lighter tattoo.
  • How does it work?
Saline removal works via Osmosis. Essentially, the water in the cells beneath the pigment contain smaller amounts of salt and water. Therefore, when saline solution is tattooed onto the skin those cells will rise to the area containing a higher concentration of salt producing equalization.
  • Why should you get saline removal versus laser?
Laser removal sessions are usually 2-3 times more expensive than that of saline removal sessions. Depending upon the type of laser used, most laser machines are only able to produce certain wavelengths which means they’re only able to target one color at a time. This leads to needing a lot more sessions. Saline Removal does not recognize colors therefore it will lighten the tattoo overall versus a laser removal which will more than likely only target one color at a time. For example, if the wavelengths of the laser machine only target the blue of a tattoo then the reds of the tattoo will be left behind.
  • How many sessions are needed?
The amount of sessions varies greatly dependent upon: How old the tattoo work is How dark the pigment is What type of pigment was used The color of the pigment (Black pigment settles the deepest) It may take anywhere from approx. 2-8 sessions. An estimate on how many sessions are needed will be given after the first couple of saline removal sessions. There is a high chance that the pigment will not be 100% removed.
  • Does it hurt?
The treatment is very similar to being tattooed. We apply topical anesthetic to numb the skin prior to treatment.
  • Can I get this done if I have previous microblading?
    Yes, you can.
  • How long do I have to wait to before I’m able to get another removal session?
You will have to schedule every 8-10 weeks
  • How long is the healing process?
Scabbing can will last up to 10-14 days. Your brows will continue to heal & will be fully healed at 8-10 weeks
  • What can I expect?
Brows will appear red/pink immediately after the procedure Redness may last a couple of weeks or several weeks dependent upon the client. This is a post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and is completely normal. For some select clients the skin discoloration can be permanent. This is a possible risk with saline removal. Stinging & Burning sensation during and after the procedure is normal and should subside within 24 hours. Brows will begin to crack and scab (It may be itchy while scabbing) Scabbing takes about 10-14 days Start and end of scabbing varies with each client
  • What is the aftercare?
Keep the area clean No water contact on the area until the scabs peel off Avoid swimming, saunas, etc. Avoid touching, scratching and picking on the scabs. Allow them to fall off naturally. The unwanted pigment will be drawn up onto the scab so it’s crucial that the scab stays intact for as long as possible for better results. Moisturize: Once all of the scabs have fallen off, apply one drop of vitamin E oil 3-4 times a day for a minimum of 4 weeks. Do NOT begin applying vitamin E oil until all of the scabs have fallen off.
  • What is Inkless stretch mark rejuvenation?
A deeply penetrating mix of serums, organic oils, and vitamins C work to improve cellular turnover, reconstruction, and rejuvenation of Fibroblast cells, Collagen, and Elastin. Whether they’re red, purple, or white, this natural treatment can reduce your stretch marks by 20%-100% after just one session.
  • What is the technique?
The inkless technique is similar to a Brazilian ink camouflage tattoo except, instead of skin tone pigments on the skin, we use a variety of serums, oils, and vitamins to deposit into each stretch mark to help reduce and remove their appearance.
  • Will my results be permanent?
Yes, results will be permanent. Initial healing takes about 45 days with full results showing up to a year.
  • Does inkless stretch mark rejuvenation work on old stretch marks?
Absolutely! It doesn't matter how long you've had them or how many people have told you you'd be stuck with them forever. Depending on the depth of your stretch marks, you may require several treatments. However, typical results are a 20-100% improvement with one treatment.
  • Does it hurt?
It all depends on your pain tolerance but most of my clients say it doesn't hurt at all. No numbing cream is used during the procedure so it's pretty safe to say it's tolerable.
  • Is this the same as Brazilian Stretch Mark Camouflage?
This is an alternative to putting ink into your skin and a more natural approach. Unlike other treatments such as lotions, scrubs, lasers, and more, our inkless technique stimulates the skin to produce collagen – a naturally occurring protein that provides structure to the skin and other body areas. Once desired results are reached no touch-ups are required.
  • What is the healing phase?
At the end of the treatment, the stretch marks are raised and red. This will subside between 4-14 days. The healing process can take 45-60 days.
  • What are the results?
As a result, clients can notice a 20%-100% reduction of stretch marks after one session.
  • Can treatments be done on all skin tones?
    Yes.
  • Can all areas of the body be treated?
Yes with the exception of the face at this time.

Laser treatment does not address the discoloration of the stretch marks vs. your natural skin tone. People who have had laser treatments can receive stretch mark camouflage.
  • Should I do inkless or Brazilian Camouflage treatment?
Inkless is a more natural treatment that can be used for all stretch marks: red, purple, and white; it’s also preferable for the deep ones. Brazilian camouflage can only be performed on healed stretch marks lighter than skin tone.
  • What is Brazilian Stretch Mark / Scar Camouflage?
The Brazilian stretch mark camouflage technique is an innovative way to disguise any area of your body that has been affected by stretch marks/ scars. Utilizing a meticulous tattooing method, this process creates pigment illusions in order to conceal any stretch marks or scars that make you feel uncomfortable. By carefully matching your natural skin tone, we can erase the unpleasant discolouration on the skin making stretch marks, scars, and other skin problems almost invisible.
  • How long are the treatments and how long do they take?
Typically, a session lasts between 1-2 hours. It all depends on the affected area. Usually, it takes several treatments to achieve desired results.
  • Is stretch mark camouflage right for me?
If you have stretch marks, we can give you a camouflage tattoo treatment; however, we advice to try our inkless technique first and leave camouflage ink technique as a last option. Some clients have skin tone and stretch marks that are too close in color – In this case we would perform only inkless technique. This involves the same steps as a camouflage tattoo, but without the use of any pigment colors. The skin on the stretch marks will be carefully grazed just enough to induce healing. Just remember, our treatments help to make stretch marks smooth & less noticeable. Nothing will completely get rid of stretch marks.
  • Stretch mark Camouflage vs Laser Treatments
While Laser Treatments do work on stretch marks by damaging the skin’s outer layer and forcing it to heal itself, similar to our inkless Treatment. However, they do not put color back into the skin. So almost all clients who use Laser Treatments for their stretch marks still have noticeable stretch marks. In fact, many of our clients have had many Laser Treatment procedures prior to walking into our office. Another huge difference is the cost of that treatments. Laser Treatments could run $1,000 to $3,000 per session, and can easily end up costing the client over $10,000 overall.
  • Is it painful?
Most Clients report that it is painless, some have commented that “it actually tickles”, “it feels like a gentle scratching”, or “it’s not as bad as a tattoo”.
  • How long is the downtime?
This is a noninvasive procedure similar to a tattoo. Therefore, there is little to no downtime and most Clients can resume work in the same day or the next day.
  • What to expect before and after treatment?
Please wear loose comfortable clothing for appointment! The area treated will be red, raised, and inflamed immediately after the procedure and may take a few days to subside but this is normal and to be expected. Minor itchiness can be relieved by rubbing aquaphor on the area.
  • Can I Tattoo Over a Scar?
Can you tattoo skin colour over a scar or stretch mark? Yes – using Brazilian stretch mark and scar camouflage tattoo ink, technicians are able to effectively camouflage your unique skin tone into the scar. This non-surgical medical procedure will deposit ink that mimics the natural human pigment of one’s specific ethnicity onto affected tissue. Skin is not uniform in pigmentation (just like hair), so it requires an advanced technique for mixing and matching colours throughout. The scar or stretch mark needs to be flat and lighter than your skin tone in order to change the color.
  • Who Can Perform this Procedure?
The procedure should be done by a trained technician. The pigment of the skin and tissue is not something to take lightly as it can have lasting effects on your appearance. The dark healing scab color should fade within 8-10 weeks, although it may be red or tender for up to 5-8 days.
